The intended purpose of this device is to support clinicians during their diagnosis process, which contributes indirectly to a faster, more efficient and affordable diagnosis, and to more continuous and objective monitoring of the severity of the condition, especially in what regarding telemedicine.
The device is designed to evaluate adult skin structure through a photograph to detect possible signs of similarity with a list of classes, to support the classification of skin lesions found in the database of this device.
The device is a non-sterile, non-invasive, non-implantable, reusable, and active medical device of transient duration.
Intended environment
This medical device software is a tool to aid health care professionals (HCP) in their decision-making. As such, the intended environment must be clinical and sanitary, and its use must always be performed by or supervised by a health care professionals. When patients send images their doctor according to the instructions of the IFU, images are always made available to the HCP for their consideration.
The device is licensed on a subscription basis and is centrally hosted.
