Use of the app

The software is a web app whose operation is similar to most applications in the cloud. That is to say: you will have an account in which you will log in and once inside you will have a series of sections that correspond to different functionalities of the application.

Here are the most important sections:

  • ⚠️ Pending: In this section, the medical team will see the new pictures uploaded by patients, specially those that fit the priority criteria set by the medical center.
  • 👥 Patients: This section shows a list of patients, as well as a historical summary of all the interactions with the patient.
  • 📷 Upload photo: Here, doctors can upload pictures for their analysis and documentation.
  • 👥 Medical team: Here, the administrator can manage the staff of his medical center and their roles, as explained in Set up account. This section is only visible to the Administrator.
  • 💳 Payments: In this section, the administrator can manage payments from patients. This section is only visible to the Administrator.
  • 🗓 Calendar: This section shows a calendar with the consultations that each team member has with their patients.
  • 📈 Metrics: This section shows business metrics that reflect the performance of the medical center as a business: billing, consultation hours, etc. This section is only visible to the Administrator.

Error messages​

While the user is using the software, they are likely to come across some error messages. The most common messages and their explanation are listed below.

"The image could not be captured"

  • Effect: The image cannot be saved, displayed to the user, or forwarded for analysis.
  • Cause: Unable to allocate memory at the mobile device level.

"Image cannot be sent"

  • Effect: no analysis results or image not stored.
  • Cause: the internet connection has been interrupted.

"There is no Internet connection"

  • Effect: no analysis results or image not stored.
  • Cause: no internet connection.

"The image is corrupted or has a wrong format"

  • Effect: The image cannot be analyzed.
  • Cause: The image is corrupted or has a wrong format.

"The image cannot be analyzed"

  • Effect: the image cannot be analyzed; no result is provided.
  • Cause: Poor image quality (poor lighting, blurred image, or no person).

"You do not have permission to access this section"

  • Effect: the user cannot access the page or make use of the function.
  • Cause: the user owns the role that does not have access to a section.

"You do not have privileges on this user"

  • Effect: the user cannot access the page or make use of the function
  • Cause: the user tries to access or edit another user to which they do not have access.
