View Cases
The main functionality of the software is image loading and processing. However, the point of this is that the medical professional can visualize the case, assess the injury and take action.
For this reason, the Pending tab is especially important since it shows a series of information of various kinds, among which the following stand out:
- The original image itself, without any modification, with information about the date and time of uploading the photograph.
- The full name of the patient to whom the photograph corresponds.
- The location on the patient's body to which the photograph corresponds.
- The quality of the image, determined by a special algorithm.
- In the case in which it is not the first image of an area, a numerical value that represents the increase or reduction of the pathology detected in that area and in that patient.
- A value over 100 that reflects the prediction regarding the probability that the lesion is pre-malignant.
- In the event that the image upload was accompanied by a questionnaire with information on some clinical signs, a compilation of the responses provided by the patient.
- The name of the five most probable skin conditions or pathologies according to the algorithm, as well as a value that represents the degree of confidence with respect to the prediction. It also includes the sensitivity and specificity of the algorithm in this prediction. With this information, the doctor selects which of the five pathologies is correct in his opinion; and in case it was not one of those selected, the possibility of adding your own diagnosis.
- A historical graph that shows the increase or reduction of the pathology over time, in case it was a photograph of a patient in a recurrent area, showing the increase or reduction of the pathology in the different images processed by the algorithm.
- A list of similar pre-existing images in public domain image banks, such as ISIC or Dermnet, including the information on the diagnosis available from said source.
- Buttons to print, save or send the displayed information.
